Boat falls off back of lorry

Villagers in Ceres had a shock this morning when a speed boat fell off the back of a trailer in Main Street.

The incident happened just outside the Spar Shop, leaving long skid marks on the road.

A witness said: “It just sort of slid off. Someone’s going to have a red face.”
