Man to stand trial over Royal and Ancient clubhouse vandalism
Andrew Jarrett is alleged to have “wilfully or recklessly destroyed or damaged property” at the R&A clubhouse in Golf Place, St Andrews, by throwing a stone at a window and damaging it.
He is then said to have gone out on to the town’s City Road, adjacent to the Old Course, and “behaved in a threatening and abusive manner.”

Jarrett (39), of Sandyhill Court, St Andrews, denied a charge of vandalism and of behaving in a threatening and abusive manner on August 7 this year.
A trial date was set for February next year and Jarrett was ordered to appear at a pre-trial hearing in January.
