Coronavirus in Fife: Drop in hospital infections

There were 19 new cases of coronavirus in Fife overnight, but another drop in the number of people in hospital with the virus.

1653 cases have been detected in Fife since the start of the outbreak, up from 1634 yesterday, according to Scottish Government data.

The number of people currently who have tested positive in Fife hospitals is less than five, having steadily decreased from eight last week.

A total of 855,458 people in Scotland have been tested. Of these people, 39,959 were positive.
